Biography
Nicolás Dho holds a PhD in Chemical Sciences from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC), in Argentina, and specialises in immunology, with a particular interest in the biology of dendritic cells. He has developed his scientific career at the Centro de Investigaciones en Bioquímica Clínica e Inmunología (CIBICI), a joint centre of Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET) and UNC itself. There, he focused his research on the mechanisms through which dendritic cells present antigens to T lymphocytes, a process that is central to the immune response. In September 2026, he joined the CaixaResearch Institute as a postdoctoral researcher to continue developing his research within the group led by Dr Héctor Huerga Encabo.
