A researcher specialising in T-cell engineering and advanced therapies. During her PhD research at Hospital Clínic in Barcelona, she led the preclinical development of the CAR-T therapy ARI-0002h (cesnicabtagene autoleucel) for multiple myeloma. She subsequently undertook postdoctoral research at Gyala Therapeutics, focusing on the CD84 target for CAR-T therapies in acute myeloid leukaemia and acute T-cell lymphoblastic leukaemia. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Josep Dalmau’s group at the CaixaResearch Institute and is undertaking a research visit at UCSF to apply CAR-T therapies to autoimmune diseases of the central nervous system.
Development and preclinical evaluation of B-cell-targeted CAR-T therapies in models of autoimmune encephalitis, and the design of strategies for the in vivo generation of CAR-T cells for autoimmune diseases of the central nervous system.
