Biography
PhD in Immunology from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and specialisation in the biology of T cells in the early human immune system. His research has focused on understanding the development of γδ T cells during the perinatal period and characterising their role in the immune response in different pathological contexts. He has pursued his career at centres such as the Parc Científic de Barcelona, the Institut d’Immunologie Médicale in Brussels and the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO), where he has combined basic and translational research in immunology. Since March 2026, he has been part of Dr Gemma Moncunill’s group at the CaixaResearch Institute as a postdoctoral researcher.
Research lines
Study of the development and function of T cells during the early stages of life, as well as their role in the paediatric immune response in various pathological contexts, with the aim of generating knowledge that contributes to the development of new therapeutic strategies.
