CosmoCaixa Science Museum – Barcelona

A hands-on, family-friendly activity to discover how the immune system works through games, challenges and experiments spread across different areas of the museum.

To mark Immunology Day, CosmoCaixa and the CaixaResearch Institute present Mission Immune, an interactive experience designed to explain how the immune system works to visitors of all ages.

As they make their way through different areas of the museum, participants will have to overcome challenges and answer questions to discover how our bodies recognise viruses, bacteria and other pathogens, how they defend themselves against them, and how they build up a memory to respond to future threats.

The activity combines learning and play to bring immunology research to the public and spark scientific curiosity among young and old alike.
