Biography
With a PhD in Biophysics, Nuno Moreno has over 20 years of experience at the interface between technology, data and life sciences. His career has included roles in scientific infrastructure management, research support and data-driven innovation, primarily at the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência in Portugal, where he led the development of research facilities and advanced technologies. He has also served as CEO of Cirklo, a company specialising in scientific infrastructure management and consulting.
At the CaixaResearch Institute, Nuno oversees the development and coordination of scientific and technical platforms, guiding the strategy of the Biomedical Data Hub and open data initiatives to ensure that researchers have the tools, support and environment they need to advance cutting-edge science.
