Biography
Maria Pardo Navarro holds a degree in Biochemistry from the Universitat de Barcelona and a master’s in Biotechnology from the University of Copenhagen. She has over seven years of international experience in biomedical research, laboratory operations and scientific management. Over the course of her career, she has worked in Denmark and the United Kingdom, taking part in neuroscience research projects using animal models. In her latest stage, she also carried out scientific and operational management duties as Laboratory Manager at the University of Cambridge, where she supported researchers in procurement, equipment, infrastructure and resource management. At the CaixaResearch Institute, she works as Procurement Officer, supporting purchasing management and helping to develop processes that facilitate research and accompany the Institute's growth. She takes a particular interest in translational research and in the meeting point between science, operations and strategy.
