Biography
PhD in Immunology from Utrecht University (Netherlands) and specialised in T-cell biology and the early development of the human immune system. Her research has focused on understanding the diversity of the naïve T-cell compartment and how factors such as age, tissue migration and various clinical conditions influence these cells from the early stages of their development. She has pursued her scientific career at Utrecht University, where she investigated the mechanisms regulating the maintenance and function of human T cells throughout life. Since April 2026, she has been part of Dr Gemma Moncunill’s group at the CaixaResearch Institute as a postdoctoral researcher.

Study of T-cell development during the early stages of life to understand how immune responses to vaccines and infections differ from those in adulthood, with the aim of contributing to the design of more effective vaccination strategies for newborns and vulnerable populations.
