Biography
With a PhD in Health Sciences from the Universidade do Minho (Portugal), Bruno Rodrigues is a certified specialist in Cytometry who has developed his career in biomedical research core facilities across Europe and North America. Prior to joining the CaixaResearch Institute, he worked in core facilities at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, United States, and at SickKids and the University Health Network in Toronto (Canada). He has more than twelve years of experience in conventional and spectral flow cytometry, cell sorting, assay development, instrument management, and advanced data analysis in the fields of immunology, infectious diseases, cancer, tissue engineering, and neuroscience. At the CaixaResearch Institute, he is Head of Phenotyping and leads the development and operation of the flow cytometry, histology, and microscopy platform, supporting training and collaboration in cutting-edge biomedical research.
